THINGS TO DO:

● The Indianola Square boasts wonderful eateries, pubs, a brewery, and plenty of quaint shops to explore.

● Lake Ahquabi is just a 3-minute drive south of our farm. This outdoor recreation area offers many family fun outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, paddle boats, canoeing, and swimming.

● In the summertime, one can attend performances during the Des Moines Metro Opera season located on the Simpson College campus, enjoy a day at the Iowa State Fair, or take in the thrill of the Knoxville Iowa Racetrack. It is also possible to view the beautiful hot air balloons hovering in the sky particularly during the Indianola Balloon Classic at the end of July.

● For outdoor exercise, Iowa boasts some of the most extensive and beautifully paved bike paths in the country, connecting Des Moines to its suburban neighbors.
